Hecate’s Wheel

Hecate is associated with a labyrinth which spiraled around like a serpent.  Hecate’s Wheel is a symbol utilized by certain customs of wicca and Magicians. It is by all accounts generally well known among women’s activist conventions and speaks to the three parts of the Goddess Lady, Mother, and Hag.

Hecate is associated with a labyrinth/maze which spiraled around like a serpent. This labyrinth was known as the Stropholos of Hecate, or Hecate’s Wheel, and alludes to the intensity of knowledge and life. Generally, a Hecate-style maze has a Y in the center, as opposed to the regular X shape found at the focal point of most mazes. Pictures of Hecate and her wheel have been found on first-century c.e. revile tablets, in spite of the fact that there is by all accounts some inquiry regarding whether the wheel shape itself is really Hecate’s area or that of Aphrodite there was some intermittent cover of goddesses in the old style world.
